Fue Investigador de Comunicaciones Ópticas en los Laboratorios de Investigación y Desarrollo de Tecnología de la empresa japonesa Kokusai Denshin Denwa e Investigador Asociado en el Laboratorio de Medios del Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mario Germán Fromow Rangel cuenta con una trayectoria laboral de más de 20 años, tanto en el sector público como privado a nivel nacional e internacional en tecnologías, política pública y regulación de telecomunicaciones y radiodifusión. Ha sido miembro del Instituto de Ingenieros en Comunicaciones, Informática y Electrónica del Japón. Colaboró como Director General de Regulación "B" y Presidente del Comité Consultivo Nacional de Normalización de Telecomunicaciones en la Comisión Federal de Telecomunicaciones. Participó como Jefe Alterno de la Delegación Mexicana con Pleno Poder para firmar ad referéndum las Actas Finales de la Conferencia Mundial de Telecomunicaciones Internacionales de 2012.
Así mismo, fue Coordinador de Proyectos de la Subsecretaría de Comunicaciones de la Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes.
Communications and Electronics Engineer from the National Polytechnic Institute and Master of Science in Engineering from the KEIO University of Japan. He was an Optical Communications Researcher at the Technology Research and Development Laboratories of the Japanese company Kokusai Denshin Denwa and Associate Researcher at the Media Institute of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mario Germán Fromow Rangel has a career of more than 20 years, both in the public and private sectors at national and international level in technologies, public policy and regulation of telecommunications and broadcasting. He has been a member of the Institute of Communications, Computer and Electronics Engineers of Japan. He collaborated as General Director of Regulation "B" and Chairman of the National Telecommunications Standardization Advisory Committee at the Federal Telecommunications Commission. He participated as Alternate Chief of the Mexican Delegation with Full Power to sign ad referendum the Final Acts of the World Conference of International Telecommunications of 2012. He was also Project Coordinator of the Subsecretariat of Communications of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation.
